METEORN RUN official LINE registrations exceed 1,000 in just 12 days
With the theme “Cross the Boundaries,” IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO builds on the success of its 2023 edition, which was the biggest cryptocurrency event in Japan. This year, it leverages AI, gaming, and entertainment to highlight Web 3.0 and blockchain technologies. The event was held at the ancient capital of Japan, Kyoto.
The event included speakers and contests from a wide range of industries, including AI, gaming, entertainment, animation, and other genres using web3 and blockchain technology, as well as IVS-approved side events,
The participants explored the future of the industry with each other.
The Japanese government (Prime Minister Kishida) also sent a video letter expressing their expectations for further growth of IVS and the industry.
We METEORN RUN also opened a booth as a start-up. Among the various NFT game booths, many customers were interested in our games for all three days we joined, and we talked with each one of them in a way that was easier to understand and get started.
Some of the people who have stopped by our place had some questions such as “What is NFT? How do you make a wallet?” “How do I choose a chain? “ I felt that the shift from Web2 to Web3 will be due to the completion of stress-free and simpler solutions.

A pitch competition for the upcoming era of entrepreneurs
One of the biggest pitch competitions in Japan is known as IVS LAUNCHPAD, which is meant to open doors for the upcoming generation of business owners. After a difficult selection procedure, finalists fight for the top slot by presenting their ideas to a panel of judges made up of business owners, executives, and investors. The finalists, who were chosen from more than 250 businesses, will discuss their products and passions in a 6-minute presentation.
The majority of the projects were AI-based, giving the impression that the future will be bright for companies that can utilize and implement the coexistence of artificial intelligence and humans in a more realistic and efficient manner.

The IVS is one of those events that has grown to become a major event with a variety of genres and talk sessions as the main event. This year, more industry leaders took the stage. The session on fundraising, which connects people and money, featured speakers from Japan’s three largest mega banks, indicating that expectations for the Web3 industry are soaring even higher in the future.
